Funding and use of support

Support helps fund public education, research communication, media production, accessible resources, conference coverage, hosting, tools, and basic program operations.

  • Donations: Givebutter hosts the Foundation’s donation campaign. Contributions support the charitable mission. Tax deductibility depends on applicable law and any goods or benefits received.
  • Patreon: Support tied to membership benefits or perks may not be a charitable contribution.
  • Sponsorship: Payments made in exchange for recognition or promotional benefits are not described as charitable gifts unless documented that way.
  • Merchandise: Purchases are transactions for goods, not tax-deductible donations. Net proceeds support Foundation programs and operating costs.
  • Affiliate links: Some links on the podcast site may generate a commission. This Foundation site contains no affiliate links.

Editorial independence

Sponsors, advertisers, affiliate partners, and merchandise providers do not control the Foundation’s research conclusions, editorial judgments, guest selection, or educational content. Paid relationships are identified when relevant.

For questions about governance, donations, use of funds, or available public records, contact the Foundation. We will provide available information and add public reports as they become available.
